Privacy Policy

Summary

This site collects very little. If you join the waitlist we store your email address so we can tell you when Dinkerer is ready. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

What we collect

By default, this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

• Waitlist signups. If you submit the form, we store your email address, the time you submitted it, and the page you were on when you did.
• Aggregate page statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us anonymised, aggregated counts of visits, referrers and performance. It does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records requests for security and troubleshooting, as any web host does.

The app

Dinkerer is designed so that video processing happens on your own device. Recordings are not uploaded to our servers. When the app launches we will publish a fuller policy covering anything that does involve a server, and it will cover the app separately from this website.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on your consent for marketing email, and on our legitimate interest in securing and operating the site for everything else.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until Dinkerer launches, after which we will ask you to re-subscribe rather than keep the list indefinitely. Aggregate analytics are not retained by us beyond what is needed to run the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, emailhello@dinkerer.comand we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors: Cloudflare for hosting, email routing and spam protection, and Zoho for email. Each receives only the data needed to do its job and is bound by contract not to use it for its own purposes.

Children

Dinkerer is not intended for children under 13, or the equivalent age in your country, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for the waitlist specifically, mention it in a newsletter.
